Sessions
Proposed Sessions
- I will do a session on wiki design and usability (as important factor when facilitating adoption), Martin Koser
- I would like to offer a session regarding Semantic MediaWiki+ and what benefit it brings for enterprise settings, Philipp Zaltenbach
- I would like to offer a session/discussion focussing on social aspects, individuality und 'friendship' using wikis - if it's a platform, how do we create a stage where most of the members join the spectacle as an actress/actor? (stephan tanneberger)
- Developer-Session on how to enhance a wiki with social networking functionality? (requested by Bjoern Negelmann)
- "It's the people, stupid! Key success factors to implement a wiki." When we talk about wikis we often only talk about the technical part. But we forget to think about how to bring a wiki in an organization. We need the people which will use the new wiki. I want to show a way to get these people involved to start a wiki successfully. (by web20typ_ Matthias Thürling (www.web20typ.de))
These and some more proposed sessions are discussed in the forums, like e.g.
- "Automatic Quality Assistance in DokuWiki"
- "Open Source Wikis - have they got a place in the enterprise" - Everybody is talking about commercial closed source wikis (and they have got some marketing muscles, right) - but in this session I would like to discuss what Open Source wikis have got to offer. Let's discuss the pros and cons of choosing an open source wiki for enterprise uses!
- "Starting with DokuWiki in 45 minutes"
- "SMW+ -- a semantic enterprise wiki"
- "MediaWiki Extensions"
- "Buzz, Wave and other funky collaboration tools"
- "Do's and Don'ts in Wiki Implementation Projects" - If there's interest I might present some learnings from several years of wiki implementations - including what to do & what is better avoided, some useful conceptualizations of success factors and some traits of successful wiki implementations. Rather pragmatic session I guess - for people involved in actual implementation projects. Discussions with fellow consultants would be cool, let's barter some of our "tricks of the trade" ...
What do you want to present? add your ideas … or discuss in the forums
