SMW+ -- a semantic enterprise wiki

Hi,

I would like to offer a session about SMW+.
SMW+ is a semantic enterprise wiki and allows for advanced browsing, querying and integration of content - compared to traditional wikis - via its semantic capabilities. Technically SMW+ is a distribution of MediaWiki extensions (most notably Semantic MediaWiki and Halo) and thus open source.

Semantic wikis have started to gain significant traction in enterprises, such as telecommunication, pharma, governmental and transportation organizations. See e.g. a PwC interview on semantic wikis [1] and a selected set of use cases presented at the last SMW camp [2].

Regards,
Philipp

I fear that I cannot make it to the WikiCamp, unfortunately.
But if you want to get to know something about the semantic wiki SMW+ or our semantic sharepoint wiki, just visit our booth at the Cebit. It is located at the IBM main booth in hall 2, stand A10, demo point 71. Philipp,

sad news - sorry to hear that you can't make it.

Thanks for pointing us to the IBM Ontoprise booth - I will try to inform the others tomorrow about it, I guess some may find time to check it out ...

Take care,
Martin _ frogpond
